Double protein is normally six or seven dollars extra, so for two people it's about thirteen. The offer runs for a single day, there's no code to save for later, and it only works if you order through the Chipotle app or website with the code entered.

One day, and no code to save for later
We go to Chipotle most weeks anyway, so a day of free double protein is a good day in our house. It's around six or seven dollars extra normally, so for two of us I saved that twice over in one order.
The problem is it runs for one day. Nothing to look up next week, nothing to hold on to. It's inside the email and then it's gone.
It only works one way
The catch is you have to order through the Chipotle app or the website and put the code in. It doesn't work if you walk in and order at the counter, and it doesn't work through the delivery apps, which is how we'd usually do it on a weeknight.
So it isn't just knowing about it. It's knowing in time to order it the right way.
I'd written off loyalty emails completely
You join the rewards program and then they email you constantly, and ninety percent of it isn't useful to me. So you stop reading, and then you miss the one that was actually worth something. I can't sit and read every email from every rewards scheme I've ever signed up to. Nobody can.

That's the part I didn't expect to like. The locker is quiet almost all the time, which is how you can afford to trust it. It isn't another feed to check. That day it said go to Chipotle, and we went.
